Producing and maintaining an Accepted Programme on an NEC project is not easy, particularly when there is a high level of change. However, the alternative is the traditional “end of project sport”, where both parties are arguing their case as to what the final account should be. A well managed programme regularly accepted by the Project Manager will greatly assist in the level of understanding between the parties and lead to better commercial control on the project.
