The early warning process is a very simple system but one that is often misunderstood and mismanaged by on or other party on an ECC project. This simple process chart reminds readers of the process of becoming aware of an event that could affect the project and how they are closed out (and what happens next!). This should be read in conjunction with the similar separate process chart for compensation events, which is a completely separate process, although one may lead from the other.
